Chryssanthi Kavazi is one of the most well-known faces on German television, thanks to her role as Laura Weber in the cult daily soap “Gute Zeiten, Schlechte Zeiten”. But the actress has recently expanded her repertoire and has been showing off her dancing skills on “Let’s Dance” on RTL.

The couple had two good performances, but the tango in episode 2 received heavy criticism from the judges and they only got 12 points, putting them second to last on the leaderboard. In episode 3, their cha cha cha to Miley Cyrus’ “Flowers” was scored 13 points, keeping them at the bottom. The jury is hoping that Chryssanthi can improve in the next episode.

Chryssanthi Kavazi’s career
Chryssanthi Kavazi was born on January 28, 1989 in Wolfenbüttel, Germany, as one of the four children of a Greek couple who are restaurant owners. Until 2020, Chryssanthi only had Greek citizenship, but she received German citizenship that year.
She originally studied industrial mechanics in Brunswick, but in 2012 she changed her career path and attended the “Film Acting School Cologne” in Cologne, where she received private lessons from 2012 to 2014.
In 2015, Chryssanthi had her breakthrough in the comedy film “Men’s Day” and in the television series “Einstein”. In 2017, she began playing the leading role of Laura Weber in the daily soap “Gute Zeiten, Schlechte Zeiten”, with a brief break in 2019 for the birth of her son.
Chryssanthi Kavazi’s private life
Chryssanthi Kavazi met her husband Tom Beck while shooting “Einstein” in 2015. The couple got married in 2018, with both a civil ceremony and a ceremony in the Greek Orthodox Church. They welcomed a son in 2019, but have kept his name private.
