‘Blue Lock’ Continues with New Season and Movie

‘Blue Lock’ anime series came at the perfect time, as the World Cup in Qatar provided the perfect arena for anime to take over amidst the hype surrounding the Japanese team. With the end of the first season, the series has made a huge impact and has already been confirmed for a second season, set to introduce new characters.

Despite no confirmed release date, it is speculated that the second season may come out by the end of 2022 or sometime in 2024. The anime has already revealed new signings, with Yuichi Nakamura playing Ryusei Shido, Makoto Furukawa as Tabito Karasu, Kengo Kawanishi as Eita Otoya, Takuya Eguchi as Kenyu Yukimiya, Hiro Shimono as Julian Loki, and Shin’ichiro Kamio as Leonardo Luna.

Alongside the main series, ‘Blue Lock’ also has some spin-offs, including the ongoing ‘Episode Nagi,’ which is set to have a movie adaptation focusing on Nagi’s beginnings as a player. However, no confirmed release date is known for the movie.
