Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora Pre-Orders Coming Soon

The idea of an open-world game based on the famous Avatar IP created by James Cameron already makes gamers excited, but the fact that Ubisoft Massive is the game’s creator makes it more interesting. Though we haven’t seen its gameplay yet, the powerful Snowdrop Engine used in different image sets promises an enticing game.

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora will bridge the gap between the original 2009 film and its upcoming sequel, Avatar: The Sense of Water, and serve as a teaser for the third film to be released in late 2024.

When will it be released?

While there is no official release date for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, recent reports from Ubisoft indicate that it will be available in the next fiscal year, which is between April 1, 2021, and March 2024.

There has been a leak indicating that the pre-order campaign for the game may start soon. It also suggests the possibility of a release in 2021, though it cannot be ruled out that it might be delayed until Q1 2024.

Leaked Incentives for Pre-Ordering

The leak also revealed that the DLC pack ‘The Child of Two Worlds’ would be available for all pre-orders. The DLC includes character cosmetics and the protagonist’s primary weapon, as seen in official images.

The Avatar game: Ubisoft’s great hope

Ubisoft has two primary aims with the Avatar game: to overcome its bad reputation for open world gaming and revolutionize the technological side of video games. Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is its latest attempt at adapting James Cameron’s story, and it might be releasing soon on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC.
