HSV Hamburg lets 111 goals Bubi ran! Alexander Hartwig is supposed to help Olympic champions

In handball news, Niklas Weller of HSV Hamburg suffered an injury during training when he was hit in the elbow. The player required stitches to his lip from both the outside and inside. It is uncertain whether Weller will be able to participate in the upcoming game against HC Erlangen on Sunday due to the injury’s severity. A decision will be made after training on Thursday.

Despite the injury, Hamburg is eager to defend their single-digit spot in the table and take revenge for their earlier loss against Erlangen. Coach Torsten Jansen commends Erlangen’s aggressive defense and notes that they often play with the circle. Hamburg hopes to overcome these challenges and achieve victory.

Tobias Schimmelbauer will be absent from the squad due to a two-game ban from a previous foul. In his place, Alexander Hartwig will slip into the team for the second time this season. At only 20 years old, Hartwig has proven himself to be a top scorer in the Oberliga with 111 goals. Jansen is confident in Hartwig’s ability to contribute to the team.

Looking ahead, Hartwig or youth left winger Gregor Lieke may take the position of second man on the left behind Danish Olympic champion Casper U. Mortensen in the next season. Hamburg aims to continue their winning streak as they face off against Erlangen this Sunday.
