Actor Jonathan Majors Hit With Full Protection Order by Alleged Victim

Actor Jonathan Majors to Appear in New York Court

There are just a few days left for actor Jonathan Majors to appear before a New York court to clarify the reasons that led to his arrest on March 25.

Alleged Victim Granted Order of Full Protection

A Manhattan judge has already granted the actor’s alleged victim an Order of Full Protection. This has been published by Variety, which has obtained the information from the courts themselves.

As the website explains, this order means that neither of the two parties facing the trial can have any kind of contact until the day the trial is held. This legal figure also exists in Spain and serves as a measure to protect victims of sexist violence.

Majors Arrested After Alleged Attack

Majors was arrested on March 25 after the Police were notified of an alleged attack on a 30-year-old woman who was with the actor. When the authorities arrived, Majors was detained as part of the police protocol in response to these complaints, and the woman was sent to the hospital where they found that she had “small injuries to her neck and head.”

Majors Defended by Lawyer

The lawyer for the interpreter of Kang the Conqueror at the UCM has always defended the innocence of the actor, even going so far as to publish some of the messages that the victim left Majors, assuring that she had asked that they not arrest him and that she did not want to press charges.

Marvel and Disney Remain Silent

At the moment, neither Marvel nor Disney have ruled on the future of the actor.

Other Women Come Forward

Despite the attempts of Majors’ lawyer to prove the actor’s innocence, things don’t look good for him, because right after what was known after his arrest, other women went to police stations to denounce the alleged abuses to which the interpreter subjected them, as Variety learned.

Agencies Stop Working with Majors

All of this has led to the representation agency Entertainment 360, and the agency of advertising Lede Company, announcing a few weeks ago that they stopped working with Jonathan Majors, for the moment.
