Fight in the capital. According to information from Le Parisien, a 16-year-old teenager was allegedly beaten by a group of youths on Monday, near Rue Pavée in the 4th arrondissement of Paris. The victim was reportedly punched while on the ground before being hit with a hammer on the head. She was also stabbed. The Paris prosecutor’s office has not yet responded to the incident, as contacted by our colleagues. An investigation has been entrusted to the territorial security of Paris (ST75). According to a source close to the case, the victim was taken to the Pitié-Salpêtrière hospital, but her life is no longer in danger.
On the surveillance camera footage consulted by Le Parisien, a group of youths can be seen chasing after two or three other teenagers who are fleeing. The victim falls before quickly being surrounded by the assailants. To the shocked onlookers, they deliver several blows before fleeing a few seconds later. However, one of the attackers returns with a hammer and strikes the teenager twice as he tries to dodge. Injured, he attempts to get up before someone comes to help him.
