5-hour delay for Paris-Nevers-Clermont Intercités after animal collision in Nièvre

The 18:57 Paris-Nevers-Clermont Intercity train is stopped at Tracy-sur-Loire station in the Nièvre. The train hit an animal on the tracks, according to SNCF. More than 5 hours of delay are expected for the passengers.

New woes for the passengers of the Paris-Nevers-Clermont line this Tuesday, December 19. The Intercités N°5983 at 18:57 in the Paris-Clermont direction is blocked at Tracy-sur-Loire station in the Nièvre and is more than 5 hours late.

According to SNCF, the train was supposed to arrive at Nevers at 8:58 PM. It will only arrive at 1:58 AM on Wednesday, December 20. For passengers heading to Clermont-Ferrand, the originally scheduled arrival at 10:27 PM will now be at 3:27 AM.

An animal is said to have been hit between Cosne-sur-Loire and Tracy-sur-Loire shortly after 8 PM. SNCF assures through its platforms that its teams are currently intervening.

In Tracy-sur-Loire, passengers were able to get off the train. Some preferred to call their loved ones to reach their destination.
