Why the Handsome Televisa Actor Ended His Romance Due to ‘Mamitis’

José Ron and Luciana Sismondi Break Up Over “Momitis”

Mexican actor José Ron and his Argentinean girlfriend Luciana Sismondi have reportedly ended their two-year relationship due to José’s excessive attachment to his mother, known as “moms.” While some entertainment journalists blame the breakup on José’s work schedule, others point out that José’s sentimental partners tend to get fed up with his prioritization of his mother over them.

According to journalist Ernesto Buitrón, José is “a man who absorbs the relationship, who wants to have her close to him, who liked that she was at home, calmer so that when he vacated he would see her.” However, Alejandro Zuñiga suggests that José’s “mastitis” (a mispronunciation of “moms”) has caused him to have about 400,000 girlfriends, none of whom have lasted because José always puts his mother, Mrs. Rómula Vásquez Castro, first.

Unfortunately for Luciana Sismondi, it seems that she also fell victim to José’s mom. The couple, who started dating in September 2019 and were already living together, have not officially commented on their breakup. Some fans still hope that they might reconcile, but for now, it seems that Luciana is no longer José’s partner.

José Ron’s love history is notorious in Mexico’s entertainment industry. The handsome soap opera heartthrob has dated some of the most beautiful actresses on Televisa, including Ariadne Díaz, Daniela Álvarez, and Irán Castillo. However, his obsessive attachment to his mother has also been scrutinized by gossip magazines and social media, where he posts photos, messages, and videos that showcase his close relationship with her.

Whether José’s mom is really to blame for his breakup with Luciana or not, it remains a cautionary tale for anyone who values their romantic relationships above all else. Like any other form of excessive attachment, moms can become a burden that drives people away instead of bringing them closer.
