Why Amouranth Won’t Ditch Twitch for its New Rival: An Insightful Explanation

Amouranth, the popular OnlyFans model and Twitch streamer, has confirmed that she will continue streaming on Twitch. This includes PC, PS5, Xbox Series X | S, and mobile phones with Android and iOS. Despite her tempting offers from rival platform Kick, Amouranth has no plans to jump ship anytime soon.

Kick has emerged as a true competitor to Twitch with its attractive offer of a 95-5 revenue split compared to Twitch’s 50-50 split. Many big names such as Adin Ross, HeelMike, GM Hikaru, and Dr Disrespect have already made the move to Kick. However, Amouranth’s reason for staying on Twitch is slightly different.

In a recent interview with Essentially Sports, Amouranth explained that she fears Twitch may expel her if she were to join Kick. While some streamers have diversified their content on various platforms, Amouranth believes that they cannot “bite the hand that feeds you”. She cited the case of Ninja and Mixer where the move was good for the platform but lasted only a year.

Amouranth admits that she would be willing to stream on Kick for a certain amount of money, but she does not want to go exclusively on the platform due to its current reputation. She believes that it is risky and does not want to get banned from Twitch if she joined Kick.

In conclusion, Amouranth has no plans to leave Twitch as of now. She believes that it is important to diversify content on different platforms but warns against “fucking up” on the platform you follow. While Kick offers an attractive revenue split, Amouranth deems its reputation too risky at the moment.
