Vodafone announces First CallYa annual plan on hot online platform

Vodafone: First CallYa annual plan announced | hot online

Vodafone has unveiled a new annual tariff for prepaid mobile customers called the CallYa annual package. The package costs €100 and is valid for 12 months. One of the main advantages of the CallYa annual package is its flexibility. Customers are able to allocate its included 40 GB of data freely throughout the year, in contrast to monthly tariffs where any remaining data volume is lost at the end of each month.

The package includes 2400 minutes (40 hours) of telephony and 2400 text messages, as well as the ability to use the included data volume in Vodafone’s 5G network. This deal extends to Germany and EU countries.

This type of annual tariff is not yet commonplace among German mobile networks. Aldi Talk, in the Telefónica O2 network, is one of Vodafone’s main competitors in this space, offering similarly priced annual packages with higher data volumes. Aldi Talk’s top-tier annual package includes 100 GB of data for €150.

Vodafone has yet to confirm what options customers will have for increasing data volume after the 40 GB limit has been reached. The CallYa annual package will be available to book via the company’s app and website from April. Existing Vodafone customers will be able to switch to the new tariff from mid-March.
