Ukraine Conflict: Macron cancels Kiev trip, Zelensky to visit Paris

Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelensky plans to tour several European countries this week in hopes of obtaining new aid for Ukraine on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference, Bloomberg reported on Monday, citing sources familiar with the matter.

Zelensky may stop in Paris and Berlin before heading to Munich for the conference, the sources said. This European mini-tour comes as French President Emmanuel Macron just canceled his trip to Kyiv this week.

Zelensky’s visit aims to bolster support for Ukraine as it continues to grapple with ongoing conflicts and crises. The Ukrainian president is looking to engage with key European leaders to secure much-needed aid and assistance.
