Two groups of supporters clash before the match against Paris FC

On Saturday evening, Bordeaux welcomed Paris FC for the 30th round of Ligue 2. Struggling this season, Bordeaux was hoping for the support of its fans to breathe easier by beating the Parisian team. However, dramatic events unfolded between them prior to the match against Paris FC. According to France Bleu Gironde, clashes broke out between the Ultramarines 1987 and North Gate Bordeaux before the game near the Matmut Atlantique stadium.

Even at the start of the match, the supporters criticized their players with whistles and harsh banners. For the first fifteen minutes, no encouragement came from the stands of the Bordeaux stadium. A banner saying “15 minutes of silence for a club adrift” justified this movement while another sign criticized the players’ perceived extravagant salaries.
