The PSG kicked off its winter market just hours after opening. The club officially announced the transfer of Lucas Beraldo from São Paulo as of January 1st. The 20-year-old central defender was recruited for €20 million and signed until June 2028. He has already made his debut in his new colors.
Lucas Beraldo is starting to integrate into PSG. He made an appearance against Toulouse in the Champions Trophy (2-0) and was a starter against Revel in the French Cup (0-9). He could also make his first minutes in Ligue 1 this Sunday against RC Lens. Luis Enrique is delighted to have the Brazilian on board.
“He is very mature for his age. There is inevitably an adaptation time. It’s summer there, and winter here. He is doing well, adapting. He is very mature for his age. We are like a family in this club. We try to make his adaptation quick. He is a different player with different qualities,” said the PSG coach in a press conference.
