Title: 13 people arrested, including seven on S-list of far-right extremists

Thirteen people, including seven S files of the far right, were arrested this Saturday, November 25 in Paris for swastika graffiti in the XVIIth district of the capital, reports the Agence France Presse.

According to a police source cited by AFP, these individuals were arrested red-handed in the Wagram district.

These thirteen arrests come in a context of a sharp increase in anti-Semitic acts in France since the beginning of the war between Israel and Hamas.

More than 1,500 anti-Semitic acts have been reported since October 7, according to the latest figures released by the authorities. This represents “three times those reported in 2022,” said the president of the Representative Council of Jewish Institutions in France (Crif), Yonathan Arfi, on 19 November.
