Tina Rupprecht, the current Strawweight boxing world champion is all set to win her second world championship belt. Rupprecht, who is also known as “Tiny Tina”, wants to take on her opponent Seniesa Estrada, who currently holds the belt of the competition association WBA. Rupprecht speaks with BILD before stepping into the ring.

Preparations for the fight are in full swing, and Rupprecht has had her braids done to feel more comfortable while boxing. She admits to feeling relaxed and excited about her upcoming fight. Rupprecht shares that her song for running into the arena is “It’s our fight,” which is the music from the film “Transformers.”

Despite the fact that she’ll be standing in front of 16,000 fans, Rupprecht maintains that she remains calm and is completely focused on her opponent. Prior to her career in boxing, Rupprecht was a teacher. She is a relaxed person who avoids arguments and prefers harmony, but inside the ring, she’s not nice; she’s competitive.

Rupprecht’s parents have supported her since she announced at 14 years old that she wanted to be a boxer. As she gained more success in boxing, Rupprecht rarely received silly comments from men. She stated that it isn’t necessary to feel shy about punching your opponent in the face; it’s part of the game.

Rupprecht’s students are supportive of her fight, and they wished her the best of luck. She cites Regina Halmich, the first woman to popularize women’s boxing in Germany, as one of her role models. When it comes to achieving success, she recommends writing down affirmations and manifesting victory.

In her free time, Rupprecht enjoys walking along the Lech river with her boyfriend, gardening in her small allotment garden, and cooking vegetarian meals.
