Tekken 8 Unveils Jun Kazana in New Trailer with Potential Launch Updates this Weekend!

Tekken 8, the highly anticipated next-generation installment of the popular fighting game series, has been releasing a string of trailers that focus on the fighters that make up its roster. This game will only be released on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, making it an exclusive title for the latest gaming hardware.

The latest trailer features Jun Kazama, a character who only appeared canonically in Tekken 2 in 1995. Jun Kazama is the mother of Jin Kazama with Kazuya Mishima, and her inclusion in the Tekken 8 roster has been highly anticipated by fans. The entire family will reunite in Tekken 8, and they have all received trailers in recent weeks.

Bandai Namco, the game’s developer, is working on new mechanics such as side steps or destruction on the stages to enhance gameplay. They are also evolving ideas from Tekken 7, one of their longest-running installments. Since its launch on consoles in 2015 (and arcade in 2017), Tekken 7 has sold more than 10 million copies, and fans are hoping that Tekken 8 will surpass its success.

Tekken 8 will be using the Unreal Engine 5, which is the latest game engine developed by Epic Games. This move takes into account the technological advancements made by the gaming industry in recent years, and it is expected that the game will showcase enhanced graphics, refined gameplay, and improved sound design.

Tekken 8 was announced at State of Play in September 2022 but the release date remains unknown. It is expected that new information regarding the game will be revealed at EVO Japan this weekend, from March 31 to April 2, including possible announcements of new characters.

Tekken 8 is expected to make a huge impact in the fighting game eSports community, and plans are already in place to include it in events such as EVO. However, at EVO 2023, which will be held in Las Vegas between August 4 and 6, Tekken 7 will still be the game featured, and Street Fighter 6 will make its debut. Street Fighter 6 is set to release on June 2, which means that it will gain a head start on its rival, Tekken 8.

Tekken 8 continues to build excitement among fans, and its trailers have provided a torrent of information and gameplay. With the inclusion of Jun Kazama, players can expect an exciting reunion of the entire Kazama-Mishima family. The future of Tekken 8 looks bright, and fans cannot wait to get their hands on it.
