In a message posted on their social networks, Sepultura announced that they are embarking on a tour of Latin America and Europe for a farewell tour that will also celebrate the 40 years of existence of the group. “Sepultura has reached the end of the road and has chosen to depart through a conscious and planned death. Over the next 18 months, we will celebrate our 40 years of existence with our loyal fans on a farewell tour around the world. It will be one last time a celebration of the past and the present,” explains the group on Facebook.
It is worth noting that Sepultura, formed by Max and Igor Cavalera in 1984, is the origin of powerful tracks such as “Roots Bloody Roots”, “Territory”, “Refuse/Resist” and “Ratamahatta.”
