Schalke’s Cry for Rescue: Reis Spearheads Savior Revolution

Schalke: Reis needs the savior revolution now

Schalke’s super run has continued with a 1-1 draw in Augsburg. This is an impressive feat, as never before has a bottom-of-the-round team gone unbeaten in the first eight games of the second half of a Bundesliga season, amassing 12 points. However, the team’s performance has not been without flaws as Thomas Reis and his team struggled during the game. Even Thomas Reis’ vanilla sweater (49) was not enough to secure a win.

After Augsburg’s Ermedin Demirovic received a kung fu red card in the 53rd minute, Marius Bülter managed to equalize with a foul penalty in added time, saving Schalke from defeat. However, if the team wants to achieve the miracle of avoiding relegation, they will have to improve on almost every front.

Reis needs to initiate a rescuer revolution before their next game against Leverkusen on April 1st. Firstly, the team needs more creativity in their play, especially when they had an opportunity to score with 11 against 10. Additionally, the strikers need to improve their performance. Besides Bülter, Michael Frey and Simon Terodde need to step up and score goals for the team.

Furthermore, the team looks exhausted and drained of energy. They urgently need a fresh injection of energy to make up for their deficits. Reis acknowledges the mental pressure his team is under, and the team needs to address this as well.

In conclusion, Schalke’s impressive run is not enough to guarantee their survival. The team needs to address their shortcomings and reassess their strategies before their next game against Leverkusen.
