Quenstedt Aims to Halt the SCM in Hanover on Thursday

With Hanover on Thursday: Quenstedt wants to stop the SCM

The Handball Bundesliga is currently filled with exciting matchups, and one of the top games features SC Magdeburg. This Thursday at 7.05 pm, the Wiegert men will face off against their opponents from Hannover in a thrilling match.

One player who knows both sides very well is Dario Quenstedt. As a goalkeeper playing his 16th first division season, he spent ten of those years in the box at SCM. However, since the summer, he has been playing for Lower Saxony.

Despite being on the opposing team, Quenstedt still holds a special place in his heart for SCM. “The games against SCM are always a special highlight on my calendar,” he shares. “After my long time there, I am, of course, connected to the fans and the club.”

Hannover has yet to beat any of the top five teams, but Quenstedt remains optimistic. “If we stick to our tactical guidelines, I see very good chances of causing serious problems for the SCM,” he says. Could Hannover become the “King Murderer”? “We came very close against Kiel, Berlin, and the Löwen without rewarding ourselves,” Quenstedt notes.

Fans of both teams are eagerly anticipating this game, which promises to bring thrilling action on the court. No matter which team comes out on top, it’s sure to be an exciting match.
