Last summer, PSG significantly strengthened its attack. The capital club went to Ligue 1, to OL, as Bradley Barcola arrived from OL. The transfer of the Frenchman was eagerly desired by Luis Enrique, and the partnership seems to have worked between the two men. The forward believes he has improved under the orders of the Spanish coach.

During the last summer transfer window, PSG did not hesitate to make big investments in attack. The French champions spent nearly €50 million on Bradley Barcola, a young prospect from OL. After a certain period of adaptation, the forward seems to be fully flourishing in Paris.

Luis Enrique has made Barcola progress

One of the main architects of Bradley Barcola’s arrival in Paris is Luis Enrique. The PSG coach had approved the profile of the former OL player and had identified great potential in him. According to the Frenchman, interviewed by Téléfoot, the Parisian coach has already managed to make him progress in just a few months. “If I am a better player with Luis Enrique? I know I have progressed. When I don’t do what he wants, he is behind me telling me, ‘go, move, take the ball, go one-on-one’.”

“He’s the one pushing me”

According to Bradley Barcola, Luis Enrique mainly pushes him to provoke opponents one-on-one. “It’s true that I am a dribbler, but I am not the player who will dribble one-on-one throughout the match. It’s him who pushes me, and I know that’s how I progress.”
