PSG: Is Qatar Ready to Leave Paris? A Response Falls

The relationship between PSG’s management and the Paris City Council is strained. The PSG leadership wants to buy the Parc des Princes, but Anne Hidalgo refuses to comply with their requests. In the coming weeks, the club is expected to renew negotiations. Meanwhile, they have put aside the matter of purchasing the Stade de France.
PSG can count on a new ally. The Parisian club recently announced the arrival of a minority shareholder, Arctos Partners. The American group acquired 12.5% of PSG’s shares for €530M.
According to information from Le Parisien, Arctos Partners wants PSG to become the owner of its own stadium. This desire is also shared by the club’s management. For several months, Nasser Al-Khelaïfi has been trying to buy the Parc des Princes, which is currently owned by the Paris City Council. The negotiations are currently at a standstill.
Qatar wants to reach an agreement with Anne Hidalgo. PSG had considered a relocation, notably to the Stade de France, as reported by the regional newspaper this Sunday. However, the Parisian club has decided to put this matter aside and focus on reaching an agreement with the Paris City Council.
