Premiere of the Agile HR Conference this Autumn Focuses on HR Department Agility

Agility in the HR department: The Agile HR conference will premiere in autumn

Companies and employees are facing changing demands at a rapid pace. In response, Heise is teaming up with IT Agile to organize the first-ever Agile HR Day on September 20, 2023. The one-day online conference will tackle the transformation of traditional job roles into more agile ones and explore contemporary training and education. It will also examine the impact of an agile mindset on modern learning culture.

The conference offers insights into change management and agile transformation from professionals in different fields. Attendees will learn about proven and new tools that they can use to drive change within their own HR department. A snippet from the event program includes HR goes agile @ Star Finanz, Fit for Purpose with Kanban, Flight levels with dialogical corporate culture, and Integrating agility and social sustainability.

The main objective of the Agile HR Day is to provide participants with a comprehensive overview of the working methods used in agile organizations or those that are transitioning to one. Modern HR work emphasizes self-directed learning and personal responsibility, and gives employees a greater say in the design of their learning processes. Leading personnel no longer design from above, but instead, enable participation.

The event will offer assistance and practical suggestions on how HR professionals can use agile methods to act more flexibly and be more responsive to the needs of their workforce. The Agile HR Day is open to anyone who wants to develop their team more sustainably, including those responsible for project teams, personnel development, coaches, consultants, and Scrum/Kanban masters. No prior knowledge of agile practice is required to attend the conference.

The Agile HR Day is a collaboration between Heise Developer, dpunkt.verlag, agile academy, it-agile, and product workers. Early-bird tickets are on sale now and cost €219 plus VAT. Teams of three or more people can enjoy further discounts. You can find more information about the event on the program page of the event website.
