Partial Interruption of RER E Traffic in Paris Throughout the Morning

From dawn, the troubles begin on the RER E. The traffic has been interrupted since the start of service between the Haussmann-Saint-Lazare and Magenta stations in Paris on Friday, November 24, 2023. The rest of the network is also disrupted. The resumption of traffic is not expected before noon, according to the SNCF.

This disruption is related to “a disturbance of an installation at Haussmann and Magenta station,” the SNCF said. As a result, trains to and from Villiers-sur-Marne, Tournan, and Chelles terminate and operate from Paris-Est.

“To travel between Haussmann Saint-Lazare and Magenta, passengers are invited to take the following alternative routes:
– Walk to the Opera metro station (via Auber)
– Take Metro 7 towards La Courneuve, get off at Gare de l’Est then take Metro 4 between Gare de l’Est and Paris Nord.
– From Magenta, passengers heading to Villiers-sur-Marne and Tournan are invited to take a train to Chelles Gournay, get off at Rosa Parks, then take a train to Villiers-sur-Marne or Tournan.
