Paris suffers first EuroCup defeat
Paris is no longer undefeated on the European stage. Paris Basket suffered their first loss of the season in the EuroCup against Besiktas on Tuesday night at the halle Georges-Carpentier (63-68). At home, the capital club was dominated on the boards, especially by Frenchman Matt Mitchell, who scored 16 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in the game. The 22 points from T.J. Shorts and 19 from Nadir Hifi were not enough for the Parisians to secure an eighth straight victory in Europe. Three days after their loss on the court in Roanne, Paris concedes a second consecutive defeat but retains the top spot in their European group.
