Paris, France – On Monday, October 23, 2023, two cars collided on Boulevard Victor in Paris’s 15th arrondissement, resulting in six injuries, three of which were serious. The accident occurred at around 5 am near the Desnouettes tramway station. Contrary to rumors on social media, there were no fatalities.
The Paris firefighters arrived at the scene at 7 am and reported that three people were critically injured. One person was trapped in their vehicle and had to be extricated by the rescue team. “All the victims will be transported to local hospitals,” said a spokesperson for BSPP.
Due to the accident, the tramway service on T3a is currently suspended between Maryse Bastié and Pont du Garigliano stations. Replacement buses have been arranged, and service is expected to resume around 9 am.
