Paris Metro Line 6 partially suspended: Alternatives for getting around

A repair that will greatly inconvenience users of Line 6 of the Paris metro. Starting from Thursday, November 2, 2023, this RATP line, which connects Nation to Charles de Gaulle/Etoile, will be partially closed until Monday, November 6.

The line stops at Trocadéro, so how do you continue your journey from there? The replacement of a track device requires the closure between Charles de Gaulle – Étoile and Trocadéro from November 2 to November 6, 2023. During this service interruption, the temporary terminus is at the Trocadéro station.

Buses or Line 9 of the metro are available to users to continue their journey, unless they prefer to walk. Additionally, the Bir Hakeim station, closed since October 30, will remain closed until February 4, 2024. Trains will still run but will not stop at the station. The connection to the platforms of RER C is not accessible. The RATP encourages users to use pedestrian routes outside.

On the other side of the capital, Line 14 remains completely closed until Sunday, November 5, while the Austerlitz station (Line 5) is closed for construction until April 17, 2024.
