Paris FC [U18] : Heading towards a very uncertain match?

Valenciennes FC (VAFC) has been at the bottom of the league standings for several days and will have to work hard to defeat a Paris FC team that is in good form and has dominated the recent history between the two teams.

The dynamic is in favor of Paris FC as Valenciennes has had a slightly unfavorable record against Paris FC since the 1993/1994 season. In 14 matches played, Valenciennes has won four, drawn five, and lost six in all competitions. In the last five meetings, Valenciennes has only won one, drawn one, and lost three, conceding nine goals in the last two home games against Paris FC.

Last year, Valenciennes won the first of the three encounters with a goal from Noah Diliberto at the Charlety stadium. The Parisians then won in the French Cup at the beginning of January before coming to win at the Hainaut in a high-scoring match (4-5).

The last five matches between the two teams have seen both teams performing well:

– L2 – 01/04/23: Valenciennes – Paris FC: 4-5 (Grbic *2, Kaba, Buatu)
– CDF – 06/01/23: Paris FC – Valenciennes: 3-1 (Berthomier)
– L2 – 08/10/22: Paris FC – Valenciennes: 0-1 (Diliberto)
– L2 – 30/04/22: Paris FC – Valenciennes: 1-1 (Hamache)
– L2 – 11/12/21: Valenciennes – Paris FC: 1-4 (Guillaume)

The upcoming match between VAFC and Paris FC will take place on the 18th matchday of Ligue 2 on Saturday, December 16th at 19:00 at the Stade du Hainaut in Valenciennes.
