In the nineteenth round of the D1 Arkema, Paris FC hosted Montpellier and easily emerged victorious. The win allowed the capital’s team, currently in third place, to strengthen their position on the podium while pushing their opponents down to fifth place with fourteen points behind and an extra match to play. Most importantly, the home team secured a spot in the play-offs.
Kessya Bussy opened the scoring just five minutes into the game, capitalizing on a swift counterattack led by Clara Matéo. Then, the assist turned into a goal on her own after fifteen minutes of play. Finally, Bussy sealed the deal with a stunning second goal in stoppage time of the first half, assisted by Gaëtane Thiney.
