Paris FC – AJ Auxerre [0-2]: Still not there

Paris FC suffered a 0-2 defeat against AJ Auxerre in their return to Charléty for the 10th round of Ligue 2 BKT.

In the 16th minute, Léon made a great save on Ilan Kebbal’s shot from outside the box.

AJ Auxerre took the lead in the 23rd minute with Sinayoko’s powerful header that was out of reach for Obed Nkambadio.

In the 50th minute, Alimami Gory’s shot from the edge of the box missed the left post by inches, after being set up by Ilan Kebbal.

Auxerre secured their victory in the 69th minute with a penalty. Raveloson’s penalty was saved by Nkambadio, but Onaiwu scored from the rebound to make it 0-2.

Despite creating numerous opportunities against an in-form team, Paris FC couldn’t find the back of the net. The loss was disappointing for the home team who were hoping to turn things around in front of their supportive crowd.

After the halftime break, Paris FC pushed forward but were caught off guard in their own penalty area, resulting in a foul and a penalty that ended any hopes of a comeback.

This latest defeat only adds to the struggles of Paris FC, who will have a break during the international break to regroup and find a way to improve their performance.
