Dépêche Mode, a famous British group, has been selected to play a role in the Olympic Games, not for their sports performances but to test a surveillance system using artificial intelligence.
This system will be tested during the group’s concerts in early March at the Accor Arena in Paris, where it will be used during the Olympics this summer.
The AI will be used to analyze video surveillance images and enhance the operator’s ability to detect various risks in real-time.
This includes crowd movements, abnormal situations, and abandoned bags, allowing operators to intervene if necessary.
It’s important to note that the test during the concert will not lead to any actual intervention.
