A first case that has led to others. This Wednesday, February 7, 2024, the director and actor Nicolas Bedos is being tried before the Paris criminal court for sexual assault while drunk. He faces five years in prison and a fine of 75,000 euros. The defendant is also facing other charges for sexual violence.

The facts being judged this Wednesday took place in a Parisian nightclub on June 2, 2023. In an advanced state of intoxication, Nicolas Bedos allegedly touched a 25-year-old woman in her intimate parts. He was then placed in police custody.
Other sexual violence reported
After this custody, other cases involving the 45-year-old actor have emerged. Another woman filed a complaint for sexual assault, as the actor kissed her on the neck in a nightclub without her consent. Another victim filed a complaint for sexual harassment committed in 2018. Nicolas Bedos will be tried in September 2024 for these two cases.
Two other older complaints were dismissed. The first concerns an attempted kiss on the mouth of a young woman, and the second an accusation of rape committed by the actor in his family home on a friend in 1999.
