Netflix’s Second Live Stream Event Goes Awry as Love Remains Blind

"Love is blind": Netflix messes up its second live stream event

Netflix’s Second Live Stream Event Ends in Failure

Viewers who were eagerly awaiting Netflix’s live stream show, “Love is Blind,” were left disappointed after the program failed to air due to technical issues. Fans were hoping to see the participants of the dating show but instead, they witnessed a live social media embarrassment on Monday night.

Netflix initially tweeted that the live show would be worth the wait, but an hour and a half after the scheduled broadcast, the streaming service pulled the plug and apologized to viewers for the failure. The disappointment and hatred expressed on social media were not the reactions Netflix had desired when it planned the event.

The failed live stream of “Love is Blind” is a setback for Netflix, which had been testing its infrastructure to prepare for entering the sports business in the future. The streaming service has only hosted two live streams so far. The first one was a successful comedy special by US comedian Chris Rock in March.

The reasons for the technical failures during Netflix’s second live stream have not been revealed by the company. However, the “Love is Blind” show was recorded instead and will be available for streaming on demand soon.
