The winter transfer window has opened this Monday and PSG has already finalized two arrivals: Gabriel Moscardo and Lucas Beraldo. The two young Brazilians are expected to arrive this winter and PSG has not yet finished its market. An experienced midfielder is being sought and the name of Casemiro has been proposed to the capital club.
PSG is expected to be very active this winter. After a quiet winter transfer window in 2023, the Parisian club has taken the lead this time to strengthen the positions of the squad. While a central defender and a defensive midfielder are expected to arrive, PSG’s leaders could be tempted by a Brazilian star who already has a successful career behind him. And all the stars could be aligned for his arrival.
Luis Enrique wants an experienced midfielder. According to Le Parisien, Luis Enrique has asked his leaders to consider the possibility of bringing in an experienced midfielder. The injury to Warren Zaïre-Emery has led the Parisian coach to request another player capable of playing in this position. The Parisian coach knows that 2024 is going to be exciting, but also exhausting and therefore wants to plan ahead.
Casemiro proposed to PSG. At Manchester United, the season is very complicated. Last in their Champions League group, the Red Devils spent the Christmas holidays in 8th place in the Premier League, after a defeat (against West Ham, 0-2), before suffering another one against Nottingham Forest on December 30th (1-2). Many key players could leave the club, like Casemiro who, according to Sports Zone, has been proposed to PSG. Under contract until June 2026, the Brazilian midfielder will not be retained by Manchester United. PSG knows what it needs to do to try to bring the former Real Madrid star.
