Paris: The “blockade” is preparing again
In total, eight “blockage points” on major highways a few kilometers or tens of kilometers from the Paris ring road are planned by the FNSEA and the Young Farmers (JA) starting at 2:00 PM, with the slogan being a “siege” of the capital, with no time limit.
At 8:30 AM, the blockade of Paris had not yet begun, with the disruptions on the A13 mainly due to a slow-moving operation by taxi drivers, who are also mobilized for their own issue: to negotiate with health insurance for transportation of patients.
On the farmers’ side, in the Oise region north of Paris, they are setting up a blockade at the Chennevières rest area to block traffic in both directions, according to Régis Desrumeaux, president of the FDSEA.
