Levallois Paris-Saint Cloud Takes the Lead in the Women’s Ligue A, Nantes Bounces Back

In the first match of the evening, Levallois Paris Saint-Cloud continued their good form. Unstoppable on their home court, the Parisian team easily defeated France Avenir (3-0). They started off strong, with a superb performance from Stephanie Enright, who scored 15 points, and comfortably won the first set (25-13).

Although they faced more resistance in the following two sets (25-21, 25-19), the Parisians were never truly threatened by the bottom-ranked team and now take the lead in the Championship.

Vandoeuvre Nancy, Chamalières, Le Cannet, and Nantes make a comeback. There was also success for Terville Florange. Despite a close first set (25-22), TFOC gave it their all in the next two sets (25-15, 25-23) to secure a convincing victory against Quimper (3-0) and move up to fifth place in the standings. Meanwhile, Chamalières and Vandoeuvre Nancy, who were defeated by Béziers (3-1) and Levallois Paris Saint-Cloud (3-0) last weekend, respectively triumphed over Pays d’Aix Venelles (3-1) and Béziers (3-1).

Thanks to their win against Cannes (3-2), Nantes made a good move and climbed to fourth place in the Championship. Finally, reigning French champions Le Cannet had a tough time getting past Marcq-en-Baroeul (3-2) and now sit in eighth place.
