Labbadia on VfB Stuttgart: The Danger of Hasty Dissatisfaction

VfB Stuttgart: Labbadia on VfB pros: "They are dissatisfied too quickly"

Heavy Criticism for Bruno Labbadia

The VfB coach, Bruno Labbadia (57), is facing intense criticism after registering only one win in ten league games and maintaining an average of just 0.6 points.

However, after winning 2-0 in a friendly match against Heidenheim in the second division, Labbadia commented on the public criticism of his ability, stating that he does not read anything and has repeatedly emphasized that he takes responsibility. He said, “For me, the situation still possesses the opportunity to improve, and I am here with a positive mind.”

In response to the 1-0 defeat against Wolfsburg, Labbadia explained that relegation battles can have negative impacts on the team, often leading to dissatisfaction if results are not achieved. The team desires to play football, but they are not comprehensively prepared for the relegation battle.

Despite the team’s position, Labbadia remains optimistic and believes that VfB can still make it out of the relegation zone.

The Future of VfB

During the friendly match against Heidenheim, Labbadia gave a chance to the U21 trio of Jonas Weik (22), Mattis Hoppe (19), and Luca Bazzoli (22) to showcase their skills. Labbadia was impressed by their energy levels and recommended them for their good work.

On a separate note, Julian Nagelsmann will be leaving the Bayern site for the last time at 4:10 p.m.
