Koché opens a pop-up store in Paris

Koché is setting up shop in the heart of Paris with a pop-up store. The street couture brand, led by Christelle Kocher, primarily distributed through multi-brand retailers, is opening a physical retail space for the first time. This is a temporary format, as the pop-up will only be open from December 9th to 23rd. It is located at 2, cité Dupetit-Thouars, in the Marais.

The space will offer a series of looks for women and men from the fall-winter 2023/2024 collection, as well as a selection of iconic pieces from the brand, according to the announcement.

Founded in 2015, the house is going through a transition phase with a new strategic approach, which has led to a deep restructuring. Koché has taken back direct control of the production and distribution of its ready-to-wear collections this season, which were previously managed under license by the Italian fashion group OTB in 2019. In June, the brand hired Rajat Kumar as CEO, previously working in merchandising at AMI Paris. The brand has also changed its fashion show schedule, positioning itself during Paris Men’s Fashion Week with a mixed-gender show. This new chapter opened last June with the spring-summer 2024 collection, created in-house with a less street aesthetic and more minimalist approach.
