Klaus Allofs Suffers Knee Shock at Fortuna Düsseldorf

Fortuna Düsseldorf: Knee shock for Klaus Allofs

Fortuna Düsseldorf, a second-division football club in Germany, has been plagued by injuries and illnesses this season, leaving them without key players for many games. Their misfortune now extends to management, as the club’s director Klaus Allofs will also be absent for their upcoming match against Rostock after suffering a knee injury in a fall at his home.

Allofs’ absence comes at a critical time for the club, as they aim to return to the Bundesliga next season. The club declared immediate resurgence as a goal after their relegation in 2020, but have so far been unsuccessful. Allofs, who was a legendary player for the club, wants to avoid being remembered as a failed official.

Despite his injury, Allofs will be traveling with the team to Rostock, as confirmed by the team’s coach Daniel Thioune. He also revealed that Ao Tanaka, who has impressed in recent games, will be playing in defensive midfield alongside Dutchman Jorrit Hendrix.

Fortuna Düsseldorf will be hoping to turn their luck around and secure a victory against Rostock, but they will have to do so without key players and with their director nursing a knee injury.
