The German Testing Day is back after recent years of being held only online. The conference to ensure software quality will take place on May 23rd and 24th, 2023 in Frankfurt am Main, which has been the location for previous events.

Almost thirty lectures will be held throughout the conference, with a focus on the exchange of experiences, new trends, and techniques. The event is aimed at individuals involved in the quality assurance of IT and embedded systems. The conference is accompanied by an exhibition with around 15 sponsors presenting their products, services, and job advertisements on site.

The conference is divided into a half-day offer on May 23rd, which will consist of several two-hour workshops, an open space program, and a free evening event. Attendees can also expect a motivational speech to open the event. The actual conference day on May 24th will have up to five parallel tracks, where participants can learn more about central quality assurance topics.

The German Testing Day will feature talks on topics such as behavior-driven development, insourcing, continuous delivery, agility and testing, different types of testing, and K8s-native quality assurance with Testkube. There will also be field reports from the gaming industry, audio/video streaming, and companies such as Dolby.

The event will be opened by experienced test manager Gitte Ottosen, who places the focus of quality assurance on customer orientation. The German Testing Day will be closed by Uwe Lübbermann, founder of the collectively managed company Premium-Cola, who will focus on the topic of change management based on his experience.

The price for a ticket to the German Testing Day is 899 euros (all prices plus statutory VAT). Attendees who also book the online knowledge service sigs.de with all articles from IT Spectrum, JavaSPEKTRUM, and BI-SPEKTRUM will receive a discounted price compared to the regular annual subscription.

The German Testing Day is organized by the company SIGS-DATACOM, which recently became part of the Heise Medien Group.
