"Let's Dance 2023": Joachim Llambi trusts Anna Ermakova to have a professional career

The contestants on “Let’s Dance” took a trip down memory lane on Friday evening, as the show’s theme revolved around the 80s. The celebrities danced their hearts out and sweated profusely, but not without some controversial moments. Juror Joachim Llambi, in particular, sparked an awkward exchange with a couple following ambiguous comments.

One contestant was eliminated after performing a jive. Mentalist Timon Krause performed a joint rumba with his partner, ending the routine with a hug and deep gaze into her eyes. Juror Jorge González commended the flirtatious performance, while Llambi made ambiguous remarks about the dancers’ relationship.

Star chef Ali Güngörmüş had a difficult time during training, at one point shedding tears. However, he pushed through and garnered 17 points with his coach, Christina Luft, after performing a quick step to Rick Astley’s “Together Forever.”

Meanwhile, Bachelorette Sharon Battiste and her partner, Christian Polanc, received a proud 28 points after dancing a ChaChaCha to “She Drives Me Crazy.” They were quickly elevated to fan-favorites.

Twitch star Jens Knossi Knossalla, lifted Isabel Edvardsson to earn 22 points. Completely overwhelmed, Knossalla fell to his knees, overcome with emotion.

Anna Ermakova was praised by the judges for her dance to Kate Bush’s “Running Up That Hill.” Although the judges noticed technical errors, Llambi saw potential for Ermakova to become a professional dancer in Pina Bausch’s renowned dance theater in Wuppertal.

The evening’s lowest-scoring couple was made up of handball star Michael “Mimi” Kraus and his partner, Mariia Maksina, whose performance suffered as a result of his inability to keep up with the jive.

Despite his score of 17 points, content creator Younes Zarou had to say goodbye to the competition due to a lack of votes. Dance professional Malika Dzumaev, who partnered with Zarou, was also eliminated from “Let’s Dance.”
