Jeremstar Accused of Concealing Employment: Influencer Cleared in Paris

Jeremstar, the influencer accused of hidden work, was cleared of all charges on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, by the Paris Criminal Court. The lawsuit was filed by a former collaborator who claimed to have worked on over 200 videos for Jeremstar between 2012 and 2017 without pay or a work contract.

However, the court did not find any evidence of hidden work and concluded that there was no subordinate relationship between the interviewer and the videomaker. The court also noted that the videomaker had the freedom to stop working whenever he wanted.

During the previous hearing in early September, the prosecution had requested a three-month suspended prison sentence for Jeremstar, as well as a fine of 5,000 euros.

This decision marks a victory for Jeremstar, who can now continue his work without the burden of these accusations. Stay updated on the latest news by signing up for Mon Actu, your favorite cities and media.
