Zotac to Unveil Fanless Mini PC with Economical Intel Processor N100 at Computex 2023

Zotac is set to unveil the Zbox CI337 Nano at Computex 2023, a fanless mini PC equipped with the economical Intel processor N100 from the Alder Lake-N series. The processor provides significantly higher computing power than its predecessors, Celeron N and Pentium N. The mini PC has a DDR5 memory module slot, allowing for a maximum of 32 GB of RAM. There are also two Ethernet ports, making it attractive for several networking applications. The Zbox CI337 Nano comes with three monitor ports: HDMI, DisplayPort, and USB-C with DP alt mode.

Intel NUC 13 Rugged

Liliputing has discovered a fanless NUC 13 Rugged Bravo Canyon with Alder Lake-N from a PDF document by the distributor, Mouser. The NUC 13 Rugged has two HDMI ports, two Ethernet ports with 2.5 Gbit/s, and two USB-A sockets with 10 Gbit/s. A DDR5 SO-DIMM slot and two M.2 sockets, one for a PCIe 3.0 x2 for an NVMe SSD (M.2 2280) and one M.2 3042 socket with B-Encoding for a SATA SSD, are inside the compact computer. The NUC 13 Rugged comes with an Atom x7425E or either dual-core Atom x7211E or N50. The Atoms have optional in-band ECC to protect against RAM bit errors.

Alder Lake-N Range is Growing

Asus also introduces a fanless device, the ExpertCenter PN42, with an Intel N100 or N200, which is not yet available in retail. Asrock boards N100M and N100DC-ITX are also not available in the market. However, the MSI Cubi N ADL is available from some dealers with N100, 4 GB DDR4 RAM, and 128 GB SSD at prices starting at 300 euros. Chinese companies are already supplying mini PCs with Intel N100 and fans via trading platforms such as AliExpress, such as the Morefine N9 N100 barebones mini PC.
