The travelers at Gare du Nord in Paris have access to a unique experience. Since the start of the Rugby World Cup until October 28th, an Immersive Window invites them to teleport themselves to the heart of a rugby stadium, with French captain Antoine Dupont. It is actually an augmented reality screen capable of interacting with the audience. By standing in front of it, users can try to take a penalty kick under the cries of enthusiastic supporters.

This innovation is from DigitalLandMarks, a start-up founded by the Angevin entrepreneur Lilian Rabin. The user feedback has been very positive, and I hope that the device will contribute to the excitement surrounding the competition, he says. This is the fourth time that the Immersive Window has been installed in a French train station since 2019. Last year, it allowed nearly 80,000 participants to visit Anjou from the Gare Montparnasse station within a month.
