The heise Security Tour is well underway, and participants in Cologne gave top marks for the six presentations that took place. The next event will be on Thursday, June 15th in Stuttgart with the same program. This one-day event is designed for those responsible for security and data protection, with a focus on the topic of trust. Participants will receive practice-oriented answers to questions such as who or what can be trusted and when or how.

Jürgen Schmidt, head of heise Security, will kick off the event with an exclusive overview of the IT security situation. He will summarize and analyze what has happened in the past year to derive trends for the near future. Other notable lectures will be given by Heise legal advisor Joerg Heidrich, who will give an overview of IT law, including NIS2 and KI & Copyright; and Linus Neumann, who will provide insight into artificial intelligence with his lecture “AI: When self-learning machines hack each other.”

The program has been put together by the editors with no paid advertising lectures, emphasizing the event’s 100% independence. Participating in the conference costs 645 euros, while participation in the two online appointments costs 595 euros. Members of heise Security Pro can attend the conference for free.
