French Cup 32nd finals! Revel-PSG | Paris and Kylian Mbappé dominate (0-9)

The reigning French champions did not hold back. PSG showcased their overwhelming superiority by overpowering US Revel 9-0 in the final 32nd round of the French Cup on Sunday. The Parisians dominated against the 6th division team, with Kylian Mbappé scoring a hat trick (16th, 45th, and 48th minute).

In a unique lineup with players like Lucas Beraldo at left-back, Danilo Pereira and Manuel Ugarte in central defense, and Cher Ndour in midfield, PSG initially struggled to find their rhythm despite controlling possession in the opponent’s half. US Revel deployed a solid defensive strategy to close down spaces.

The players from Haute-Garonne also identified a potential weakness in PSG’s defense and attempted long-range shots to test Keylor Navas in his first match of the season. However, Navas did not falter, and Paris took advantage of the opponent’s mistakes.

The Parisians demonstrated their attacking prowess and consistently exploited the space between the opposing left center and the full-back Habib Ouhafsa. Maxence N’Guessan scored an own goal from a Mukiele cross (0-2, 38th minute), and Asensio added another goal (0-3, 43rd minute) before setting up Mbappé for his second of the game (0-4, 45th minute).

US Revel physically struggled towards the end of the first half and could not respond at the start of the second, leading to Mbappé quickly extending PSG’s lead (0-5, 48th minute). Mbappé also shared the spotlight by allowing Gonçalo Ramos to convert a penalty (0-6, 71st minute) and setting up Randal Kolo Muani to score from close range (0-8, 76th minute) before scoring a solo goal (0-9, 90th minute).

With a total of 29 shots, 18 on target, PSG played with determination till the end and awaits the draw for the next round. For Revel, the defeat was harsh, but they enjoyed the experience before returning to their regional league.
