Rick Owens’ collection featured heroines from a distant planet, dressed in long hooded capes and heavy blankets, giving them a biblical appearance. Rabanne took a radical style turn with a mix of styles, patterns, fabrics, and colors. Models walked to a lively disco soundtrack in mix & match outfits, combining various prints and textures. The collection offered the opportunity to deconstruct and recreate looks by playing with different combinations. Pieces ranged from basic garments to sparkling ones, like lurex shirts paired with velvet pants or metallic jackets over sheer dresses.
Isabel Marant’s collection had a western-bohemian vibe, with urban Amazons wearing leather and fringe outfits. The collection featured fringed shawls, leopard print tights, and metallic details. The color palette included earthy tones, dark shades, khaki, and vibrant red. Leather was a key material, alongside suede jackets with long fringes, shearling vests, reptile-effect pants, and leather dresses.
