Elisabeth Borne accuses RN of fueling controversies

The Prime Minister also criticized the far-right party for voting against anti-terrorism measures on Tuesday. Elisabeth Borne accused the National Rally of “fueling controversies” and voting “against” anti-terrorism measures following the fatal knife attack on Saturday in Paris.

“When France is hit, there are those who act responsibly. And then there is you and your party who, once again, rush to the sole purpose of fueling controversies,” said the Prime Minister at the National Assembly in response to a question from Marine Le Pen. The National Rally “has systematically opposed measures to strengthen the protection of the French people” and “to strengthen our fight against terrorism,” added Elisabeth Borne.
