France will be the organizer of the Handball World Championship in 2023, with Denmark as the defending champion from the previous year. Argentina emerged victorious at the Pan American Games in 2023, while Japan secured their spot as the winner of the Asian Olympic Qualification Tournament. Egypt also earned their place in the tournament as the champion of Africa in 2024.
In addition to these teams, the winner of the third-place match at the Euro between Germany and Sweden will also secure their ticket to the World Championship. The remaining six spots will be determined through three global qualification tournaments scheduled from March 14th to 17th.
