Dynamo Dresden could be the key to helping Striker Idol Torsten Gütschow

Striker idol Torsten Gütschow hopes for help from Dynamo Dresden!

Torsten Gütschow, Dynamo Dresden’s record goalscorer, is now working as a coach at Bremer SV. The regional league team is currently fighting to stay in the league and could use the help of their former player’s ex-club. Bremen are currently second-to-last but still have a chance to remain in the league. However, if teams from the north come down from the 3rd league, Bremen’s chances will decrease significantly, as the number of relegated players from the Northern Regional League would automatically increase to five.

Gütschow hopes that Oldenburg stays in the league and that his team can win their next game against Hildesheim. As a newcomer in Germany’s fourth-highest league, Bremer SV has paid a lot of tuition. Gütschow believes that the team is on the right track, but there is often a lack of cleverness and routine, and small mistakes are often punished immediately.

Despite his current position, Gütschow still keeps an eye on Dynamo Dresden’s performance. He believes that the team will stay up until the end and hopes to celebrate twice over in the summer with Dynamo’s rise and his team’s relegation.
