Contributing to the Success of Paris 2024 with Entrepreneurship 2024

As a Premium Partner of Paris 2024, Groupe BPCE aims to contribute to the operational success of the Olympic and Paralympic Games of Paris 2024. The entities of the group have initiated the Entreprendre 2024 program in 2020, in collaboration with the Organizing Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games of Paris 2024, with the conviction that major projects should not be the exclusive domain of the largest companies.

The principle of Entreprendre 2024 is to inform, raise awareness, and support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and companies in the Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) across the country so that they can benefit from the economic opportunities generated by the organization of Paris 2024, including the participation in the hundreds of tenders launched until 2024.

Since its launch in February 2020, more than fifty Entreprendre 2024 meetings have provided companies with all the necessary information on tenders, as well as the tools and resources available. Among these resources are Entreprises 2024 and ESS 2024, two platforms supported by Paris2024 and SOLIDEO that allow companies to be referenced, access tenders, consult useful information, and apply.

Less than 240 days before the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, nearly 95% of tenders have been awarded. Out of 3,500 beneficiaries of tenders over 100,000 euros, 1,460 are clients of the group’s entities. The most represented sectors in the tenders include transportation, cleaning and waste management, licensing activities (textiles, souvenirs, etc.), security, catering, events, training, signage, and information systems.

More tenders will be launched in early 2024, and the mobilization continues.
